How are you celebrating Pollinator Week?

Join us in working to protect bees and other pollinators! And help spread the word across social media as we celebrate #PollinatorWeek.
Events online and across the country include:
Daily Twitter Chat :: Join PAN, Beyond Pesticides and Center for Food Safety on Twitter every day at 10-11am PT/1-2pm ET for #PollinatorChat. Share facts, ask questions and hear directly from beekeepers about their experiences in the field.
Tuesday (18th) :: Submit photos of bees or your garden! Prizes for the best close-up photo of a bee in action.
Wednesday (19th) :: Download the organizing toolkit and invite your friends and family to house party or film screening. Watch Vanishing of the Bees or Queen of the Sun, or this in-depth report — “Bee Aware” — from Dan Rather.
Thursday (20th) :: Learn how to make your town or city a community Honey Bee Haven, or become a member of PAN to receive a Honey Bee Haven sign for your front step, garden or farm. Make sure to put your sign in a visible place to jump start conversations with neighbors!
Friday (21st) :: Join Center for Food Safety and Beyond Pesticides in Washington, DC at the USDA People’s Garden and Farmers Market, 10am -2pm. For those who can’t attend, enjoy fruits and vegetables pollinated at your local farmer’s market or store. A list of pollinator dependent crops is available here http://bit.ly/17W1vVV.
And don’t forget to sign the petition calling on EPA to step up and protect bees!
